The Fahm-e-Quran (Understanding the Quran) course at Al-Mahiroon lil-Tarbiyah wal-Ta’lim is a comprehensive program centered on translation, exegesis, and educational mentorship. Led by Qari Abdul Rehman Muhammadi, a graduate of Madinah University, the course aims to bridge the gap between divine revelation and daily conduct.
Course Objectives

Translation Mastery: Students learn word-for-word literal meanings and the linguistic structure of Quranic sentences.

Course Outline
The curriculum is divided into three distinct phases:

Introduction & Principles: Covers the types of revelation (Wahi), history of Quranic compilation, and the difference between traditional and rational exegesis.

Detailed Study of Selected Surahs: Includes in-depth analysis of Surah Al-Fatiha (etiquette of supplication), Surah Al-Baqarah (pillars of faith), Surah Al-Hujurat (social ethics), and Surah Luqman (parenting principles).

Thematic Study: Explores lessons from the stories of the Prophets (Qasas al-Quran) and fundamental Shariah laws regarding daily life and inheritance.
Standard Lesson Structure
Each lesson follows a five-stage template to ensure holistic understanding:

Linguistic Analysis: Solving difficult vocabulary within a verse.

Fluent Translation: Providing a smooth, easy-to-understand translation.

Contextual Background: Explaining the verse’s background and its connection to previous verses.
